De Tour Village is a Michigan community located at the eastern end of the Upper Peninsula, founded in 1837 and incorporated in 1899. It is named after Pierre De Tour, a French-Canadian fur trader. The village is situated on the St. Mary's River, which connects Lake Huron and Lake Superior. A notable landmark is the De Tour Reef Light, a lighthouse built in 1931 that warns ships of dangerous underwater shoals.
