Baker, MT, US is a town in Fallon County, established in 1914. It was named after Robert A. Baker, a land agent for the Milwaukee Railroad. The town served as a key railroad division point and became a trade center for the surrounding agricultural area. The most notable landmark is the "World's Largest Ball of Twine," located in the town, which was started by a local resident, Francis A. Johnson, in 1953.
