Knightstown is a town in Henry County, Indiana, US. It was platted in 1827 and named after Sir Robert Claverhouse, a Scottish knight. The town is home to the historic Hoosier Gym, which gained fame as a filming location for the 1986 movie "Hoosiers." The gym, built in 1921, still hosts basketball games and tours. Knightstown's population was 2,182 as of the 2010 census.
