Marmora is a small community in Waukeenah Township, New Jersey, US. It was incorporated as a borough in 1920, after separating from Lakehurst. The town is named after Marmora, Ontario, the hometown of one of the borough's first commissioners. A notable attraction in Marmora is the Marmora Mine, an iron mine that operated from the late 1800s until 1922, and is now a local park and historical site.
