North Syracuse is a suburban town in Onondaga County, New York, US, established in 1829. Originally a part of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, it was settled by European Americans in the late 18th century. The town is known for its agricultural history, once home to numerous dairy farms and orchards. A notable landmark is the North Syracuse American Legion Post 113, a community center and veterans' memorial. Today, North Syracuse is a thriving community with a population of approximately 27,000 residents.
