Patchogue is a village located in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It was first settled in 1754 and was incorporated in 1893. The village is named after the Native American tribe that lived in the area, the Patchogues. Patchogue is home to a variety of businesses and attractions, including the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, a historic theater that hosts a variety of shows and events. Today, Patchogue has a population of approximately 12,000 people.
