Kingsville, Texas, US is a city in Kleberg County founded in 1904 by Henrietta King, the widow of Richard King, the captain and founder of the famous King Ranch. The city was built around the new railroad line and was intended to serve as a commercial center for the King Ranch. Today, Kingsville is home to Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the King Ranch, a popular tourist attraction and a National Historic Landmark.
