Amery, Wisconsin, US is a city in Polk County established in 1887 and incorporated in 1903. It was named after Amery Trathen, a railroad official. The city is known for its annual "Taste of Chocolate" festival and is home to the historic Amery Free Library, built in 1916. The library, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a Carnegie library, one of 1,679 built in the United States with funding from Andrew Carnegie.
