New Richmond, Wisconsin, US is the county seat of St. Croix County, established in 1857. The city has a population of approximately 8,000 and is located in the western part of the state, near the Minnesota border. New Richmond was heavily damaged by a tornado in 1899, but has since rebuilt and flourished. The city is home to the Westfields Golf Club, a notable attraction with 18 holes designed by Pete Dye.
