Rainelle, West Virginia, US is a town in Greenbrier County, established in 1901 by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. It was incorporated in 1949 and has a population of around 1,500. The town's economy was historically based on the paper mill, which closed in 2001. Rainelle is home to the Cook-Cecil House, a notable attraction built in 1891, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
