Notasulga is a town in Lee County, Alabama, United States, with a population of approximately 900 as of 2019. It was established in 1832 and incorporated in 1851. Notasulga is known for its rich history, including being the birthplace of Rosa Parks' mother, Leona McCauley, in 1903. The town is also home to the Notasulga United Methodist Church, which was built in 1838 and is one of the oldest churches in the area.
