Phil Campbell, Alabama, US is a town in Franklin County, established in the early 20th century. It was named after two brothers, Philip and Campbell Humphreys, who were early settlers in the area. The town was incorporated in 1919 and experienced growth due to the arrival of the Kansas City, Memphis and Birmingham Railroad.
