Flippin, Arkansas, located in Marion County, was incorporated in 1947. The town is named after its founder, Jackson Flippin. Originally a lumber and railroad town, Flippin is now known for its outdoor recreational activities, particularly trout fishing on the White River, which is home to the state's only trout-fishing museum, the Norfork National Fish Hatchery. The town has a population of approximately 1,400 as of the 2020 census.
