Gassville is a city in Baxter County, Arkansas, United States. It was incorporated in 1902 and has a population of approximately 2,200 as of 2019. The city is named after its founder, John Gass, who established a general store and post office in the area in the late 1800s. A notable attraction in Gassville is the Norfork National Fish Hatchery, which was constructed in 1955 and is one of the largest trout-rearing facilities in the country.
