Plumerville is a city in Arkansas, US, established in the mid-19th century. It was incorporated as a town in 1871 and named after the Plumer family. The city played a significant role during the Civil War as a stop on the Southwest Trail. Plumerville is home to the historic Plumerville Academy, a two-story brick building that served as a school for African American students during the segregation era. Today, the city is a small, close-knit community with a population of around 800.
