Wellington, Colorado, US is a town in Larimer County, established in 1902. It was named after C.L. Wellington, the general manager of the Colorado and Southern Railway. The town was incorporated in 1905 and experienced growth due to the discovery of coal deposits and the arrival of the railway. A notable attraction is the Sanborn House, a well-preserved example of Victorian architecture, which was built in 1887 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
