Florahome, Florida, US is an unincorporated community in Putnam County. It was established in the early 1900s as a company town for the Florahome Phosphate Company. The community once had a post office, school, and several stores. The town's population declined after the phosphate mine closed in the 1920s. Today, the area is primarily rural and residential. A notable attraction in Florahome is the historic Florahome Presbyterian Church, built in 1914, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
