Garfield, Georgia is a town located in Emanuel County in the southeastern part of the state. It was incorporated in 1907 and named after President James A. Garfield. The town was a commercial center for the surrounding agricultural area, with cotton and tobacco as the main crops. Today, Garfield has a population of around 200 people. The town is home to the Garfield Railroad Depot, which was built in 1912 and is now a museum showcasing the town's history.
