Swea City is a city in northwest Iowa, United States, founded in 1855. It was named after the Sweedish immigrants who settled in the area. The city is known for its historic Carnegie Library, built in 1903, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Swea City has a rich agricultural history and is home to the annual Swea City Sweet Corn Days festival.
