Carrier Mills is a village located in Saline County, Illinois, US. It was incorporated in 1872 and has a population of around 1,600 residents as of the 2010 census. The village is named after the Carrier lumber mill, which was a significant contributor to the local economy in the late 19th century. A notable landmark in Carrier Mills is the Harrisburg-Raleigh District of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
