Kilbourne, Illinois, US is a village in Schoolcraft Township, Macoupin County. It was founded in 1855 and named after Andrew Kilbourne, a local landowner. The village was incorporated in 1874 and had a population of 285 as of the 2020 census. Kilbourne is home to the historic Kilbourne Train Depot, which was built in 1870 and served as a stop on the St. Louis, Peoria and North Western Railway.
