Rossville, Illinois, US is a village in Vermilion County, established in 1871. It was named after a local businessman, Robert Ross. The village has a rich railroad history, with the Toledo, Peoria and Western Railroad passing through it. Rossville is home to the historic Rossville United Methodist Church, a Gothic Revival structure built in 1893, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The village has a population of approximately 1,300 as of the 2020 census.
