Camby, Indiana, US is an unincorporated community in Washington Township, Hendricks County. It was named after Campbell County, Kentucky, native James Camby, who owned a large farm in the area. The community was established in the mid-19th century and was a stop on the Terre Haute and Richmond Railroad.
