Orland, Indiana is a town in Steuben County, established in 1836 and incorporated in 1870. It was named after Orlando, Florida, due to a popular song at the time. The town is home to the Fremont Iron Bridge, a notable landmark built in 1879, which is one of the few remaining wrought-iron bowstring bridges in the United States. Orland has a rich history in agriculture and manufacturing, with a population of approximately 400 as of the 2010 census.
