Centertown, Kentucky, US is a small town located in Nelson County, founded in 1784. It was named for its central location in the county. The town was incorporated in 1850 and has a population of just over 400 as of the 2020 census. Centertown is home to the historic Bellarmine Chapel, a beautiful stone church built in 1877 that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
