Cloverport, Kentucky, US is a small city located in Breckinridge County. Established in 1798, it was named after a nearby clover field and the port on the Ohio River. Cloverport was an important shipping center for tobacco, hemp, and livestock in the 19th century. Today, it is known for the Cloverport Rolling Fork River Bridge, a historic railroad bridge built in 1872, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
