Addison is a village located in southeastern Michigan, United States, in Lenawee County. It was settled in the mid-19th century and incorporated as a village in 1879. The community was named after Addison, New York, the former home of one of the early settlers. A notable landmark in Addison is the Addison United Methodist Church, which was built in 1883 and features a beautiful Gothic Revival architecture. Today, Addison is a small rural community with a population of around 600 people.
