Attica, MI is a village located in Lapeer County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It was settled in the 1850s and incorporated as a village in 1871. The town was named after Attica, New York, the former home of one of the first settlers. Attica is known for its historic downtown district, which includes the Attica Township Hall, a Greek Revival-style building constructed in 1885.
