Barryton, Michigan, US is a village located in Mecosta County. It was established in 1884 and incorporated in 1905. The village is named after the Barry family, who were early settlers in the area. The population was 358 as of the 2010 census. A notable attraction in Barryton is the World's Largest Limpware Platter, located at the entrance of the village. This platter, which measures 18 feet in diameter, was created by local artist Jon Van Gorder in 1996.
