Britton is a village located in Washington Township, Lenawee County, Michigan, United States. The village was founded in 1879 and named after John Britton, a railroad official. It was incorporated in 1881. Britton's economy was initially based on agriculture and railroad transportation. Today, it is known for its annual Britton Days festival and the historic Britton Depot Museum, a notable landmark that was built in 1882.
