Fairview is a village in Mecosta County, Michigan, United States. It was founded in 1871 and incorporated in 1881. The village is named after Fairview, Ohio, the former home of one of its founders. Fairview is known for its historic downtown district, which features well-preserved 19th-century architecture. The village is also home to the Old Rugged Cross Historical Museum, which celebrates the history of the famous hymn and its composer, Rev. George Bennard.
