Fife Lake is a village located in Grand Traverse County, Michigan, United States. It was first settled in the 1870s and incorporated as a village in 1887. The village is named after the nearby Fife Lake, which was reportedly named after a lumberman named Fife. The village is home to the Fife Lake Historic District, which includes several buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
