Mikado is an unincorporated community in Clare County, Michigan, US. It was first settled in the late 19th century and named after the Gilbert and Sullivan opera, The Mikado. The community is home to the Mikado Depot, a historic train station that was built in 1891 and now serves as a museum. The depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a notable attraction in the area.
