Mount Morris, Michigan, US is a city in Genesee County, established in 1837. It was named after Robert Morris, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The city covers an area of 1.59 square miles and had a population of 3,097 as of the 2010 census. Mount Morris is home to the famous Applewood Estate, a 34-acre historical property that was once the home of Charles Stewart Mott, a prominent industrialist and philanthropist.
