Dixon, Missouri is a small city located in Pulaski County. It was established in 1857 and named after prominent citizen John Dixon. The city played a role in the Civil War as a stop on the Wire Road, a major supply route for Confederate forces. Today, Dixon is known for its historic downtown district, which includes the Dixon City Hall, a Greek Revival-style building constructed in 1883.
