Russellville is a city in Cole County, Missouri, US, with a population of approximately 8,000 as of 2020. It was founded in 1860 and incorporated in 1866, named after railroad official William Russell. The city is home to the historic Rock Island Railroad Depot, built in 1900, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Russellville has a rich agricultural history and is known for its annual Black Walnut Festival.
