Aulander is a town in Bertie County, North Carolina, US, with a population of approximately 800 as of 2019. It was incorporated in 1901 and has a history of tobacco farming and railroad transportation. The town is home to the Aulander Historic District, which features several well-preserved buildings from the early 20th century. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. Aulander is also known for its annual Pond Lily Festival, which celebrates the town's natural beauty and history.
