Minatare is a city in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, United States. It was incorporated in 1902 and had a population of 810 as of the 2010 census. The city is named after Minatare Lake, a nearby body of water. Minatare is home to the Mid-Plains Community College - West Nebraska Regional Center. The city's notable landmark is the Minatare Water Tower, built in 1924, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
