Greenville, New Hampshire, US is a town in Hillsborough County, established in 1759. It was originally named "Packersfield" after its founder, Benjamin Packer. The town was renamed to Greenville in 1816, in honor of General Nathanael Greene. Greenville is known for its rural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking at Monadnock State Park, which covers over 5,000 acres of land and includes the iconic Mount Monadnock.
