Gansevoort is a hamlet in the town of Northumberland, Saratoga County, New York, US. It was named after Peter Gansevoort, a Revolutionary War hero. The community was originally a part of the Dutch patroonship of Rensselaerswyck and was later owned by the Van Rensselaer family. A notable attraction is the Gansevoort Historic District, which includes 35 buildings and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
