Loudonville is a hamlet in the town of Colonie, Albany County, New York, United States. It was originally settled in the late 17th century and was named after Samuel Loudon, a Revolutionary War-era printer and publisher. The area is known for its historic homes and buildings, including the Ten Broeck Mansion, a 1797 federal-style mansion that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, Loudonville is a residential suburb of Albany with a population of approximately 7,000.
