Parish, New York is a town located in Woodhull County, in the western part of the state. It was established in 1822 and named after Samuel Finley Parish, a prominent local resident. The town covers an area of approximately 36 square miles and had a population of 1,170 as of the 2010 census. A notable attraction in Parish is the "Spider Web Farm," which is home to a large collection of spider webs and other arachnids.
