Trumansburg is a village in Tompkins County, New York, United States. Established in 1872, it was named after early settler Christian Truman. The village is known for its rich history, including the Taughannock Falls State Park, a popular attraction with a 215-foot waterfall, which is even taller than Niagara Falls. Trumansburg is also home to the Ulysses Philomathic Library, founded in 1817, making it one of the oldest libraries in the state.
