Ashville is a village in Pickaway County, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1833 and incorporated in 1851. The village was named after John Ash, a local landowner. Ashville is home to the historic Ashville Doric House, a well-preserved example of Greek Revival architecture built in 1843. Today, the village has a population of approximately 4,000 residents and serves as a gateway to the scenic and recreational areas of the Hocking Hills region.
