Englewood, Ohio is a city in Montgomery County, established in 1841 and incorporated in 1905. It was named after Englewood, New Jersey. The city is known for its historic district, the Englewood Historic District, which features many homes and buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The city is also home to the Possum Creek MetroPark, a popular attraction with nature trails and a variety of outdoor activities.
