Greenfield, Ohio is a village in southwestern Ohio, established in 1802 and incorporated in 1846. It is the county seat of Highland County. The town was named after Greenfield, Massachusetts, the former home of one of the village's founders. The village is known for its historic downtown district, which includes the Highland House, a Victorian-style mansion built in 1868 and now serving as a museum and event space.
