Leesburg is a village located in Highland County, Ohio, US. It was established in 1837 and named after James Lees, an early settler. The village covers a total area of 0.59 square miles and had a population of 1,174 as of the 2010 census. Leesburg is home to the Leesburg Heritage Museum, which showcases the village's history and cultural heritage. The museum is housed in the former Leesburg High School building, which was constructed in 1925.
