Montville, Ohio is a township in Geauga County, established in 1825. It was named after Montville, Connecticut, the original home of many of its early settlers. The township covers an area of 36.1 square miles, with a population of approximately 10,000 as of 2020. A notable landmark in Montville is the Century House, a well-preserved example of Greek Revival architecture, which was built in 1840 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
