New Lexington, Ohio, US is a village in Perry County, established in 1814. It was named after Lexington, Massachusetts, the site of the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. The village covers a total area of 1.89 square miles, as of the 2020 census, the population was 4,661. New Lexington is home to the Perry County Court House, a historic landmark built in 1851, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
