Tallmadge, Ohio, US is a city in Summit County, established in 1807 by European-American settlers. It was named after Rev. David B. Tallmadge, a member of the Connecticut Land Company. The city is known for its historical architecture, including the Tallmadge Circle, a National Historic Landmark. The Circle, a traffic roundabout, is the last remaining example of a New England style town square in Ohio and is surrounded by 19th century homes and churches.
